8-Bit Hordes is a real-time strategy game developed by Petroglyph Games, which was released on August 12, 2016 for Microsoft Windows. 8-Bit Hordes is a standalone expansion to 8-Bit Armies, using the same GlyphX engine and interface. The game is based in a fantasy themed scenario. Featured in the Hordes are two factions, the Lightbringers and the Deathsworn.
Both Hordes and Armies offer various cross-over functionalities.
