The Machine Gun Infantry, or MG Infantry, is the basic infantry unit of the Renegades in 8-Bit Armies.

As its name suggests, the MG Infantry is armed with a machine gun and also grenades, the latter of which is used to attack structures. Dealing light damage, it is effective against other infantry and does a good job of demolishing structures.
MG Infantry can be grouped with Rocket Infantry to make effective infantry army, provided they are out of the way of crushing vehicles.
