COMMANDER'S LOG: Tuesday, July 10th, 2057
CURRENT LOCATION: Coast of France, near the Channel
Before this month I've never been more than a hundred miles away from home. Now I'm sitting in a tent in France. It's not what I've seen on postcards. The coast is barren and we've passed multiple dead towns. Several of them have signs of chemical attacks - Abernathy's signature. She believes that gassing an entire town to remove any trace of rebellion is both efficient and frees up valuable resources. Thymos and his Collective preach about peace and unity, but if gassing an entire town to find a few dissidents is acceptable to him then he is no better than any of those other historical despots. If we can find where Abernathy hides her stores, maybe we can slow down those gas attacks.
Briefing[]
General Abernathy is using chemical weapon stores in this area to keep the civilians in line. We need to destroy these stores and prevent any more casualties.
